Powershell changed return output

I currently am trying to run a powershell script to plot it's output.  However when i run the script I get my results as lenght : value

I just want the value with out giving me the length how can I do that?

My script is:
Get-ItemProperty Filename.txt | Format-List Length

Hey,

With the code above you're returning an object that contains Length as a property.

Rather than do that, you want to access the property. This allows you to do that:

(Get-ItemProperty Filename.txt).Length

Perfect, that works.  I am actually trying to append a Write-Output to add :OK at the end however there is a extra space at the end.

As an example Need it to be Value:OK  I'm currently getting Value :OK  

Is that just a limitation of powershell or?

It depends how you're adding on :OK. This works for me:

Write-Output "$((Get-ItemProperty Filename.txt).Length):OK"

It should be possible to find where the space is coming from, but I'd need to know how you're concatenating the two values at the moment.
