Use this file to obtain events on specific days from the event log of remote servers. It only reports Errors and Warnings. Change the list of servers via the strServers string within the script.

Rob when i click on the server and the application log. i get this...
The event reporter process could not open the System log. Please contact Adiscon support.

Are you running a Non-Windows event logging program? That's weird....try it on a server you know you have Admin rights over, and that it has a normal Windows event log....

No wait.....that *is* an error message......so that should be the way this program works...

I am running the Hta file from a Domain admin logged in machine...
I have tried with the local machine and it works fine On a remote machine i get the message as mentioned.
I can see that it shows there are 2000 current records but below in the box i get this message.
The event reporter process could not open the Application log. Please contact Adiscon support.

Yeah, that's in the great big text box right? If you look in the Event Viewer of *that* computer, that *is* the error for that event.
This application displays the Events from the remote computer's event log.....isn't that what you wanted?

Rob the event count shows its 6000 events and every even shows this...
