Script to add/amend computer description for all PCs on the Network

Hi Experts

I would like to be able to amend the computer description for all Computers on my network using a script.

I have found some instructions at:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/resources/qanda/dec05/hey1207.mspx

But i dont know how to amend it so that it edits the current description.

Currently all the PCs are labelled NAMEBB - where BB is a number from 01 to 99

I would like to be able to look up the number and edit the PCs description based on this to whatever i like.

Please can someone help?
