The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. Need help on script

I have a script which was made by shift-3, works great but we've found a problem with it (which was my fault for not pointing it out).

The code below looks at the output of the c:\sql\208.bat is the output is
 
SQLSERVERAGENT(208): Err=0 Warn=5 Instances=5

then it modifys the output to read

SQLSERVERAGENT(208): Err=5 Warn=0 Instances=5

if its anything else then it leave it alone and outputs the alert as normal.


however we need the code altered so that when the output has multiple error outputs, for example:

TermServDevices(1111): Err=13 Warn=0 Instances=13 SQLSERVERAGENT(208): Err=0 War
n=20 Instances=20 MSSQLSERVER(17055): Err=41 Warn=0 Instances=6111

we still need the Err= and Warn= values switched for (208) errors but everything else must be left alone.
Please note the the above example is not absolute and will change just about ever hour

The code i got was in batch but will also take VB scripts.
