setting up a website for a pre-teen kid

I'm setting up a website for my daughter who is 12.   I want it to be fun and easy for her to update, add pictures, etc.   For that I was going to use Wordpress.

I'd love to add a bunch of games and fun stuff to her site.  (php, flash, js, java, etc)

Does anyone know of a resource for fun stuff like that, which she and her friends can play around with online at her site?

Any other thoughts to make this a fun site for her and her friends?
