Adobe Pro update 8.1.7, need silent install

Does anyone know where to get the silent install for Adobe 8 Por update 8.1.7 and know the switch used. I have the .msp update, but I want the silent install. I've heard that the .msp can be made into a .msi and this may work for the silent install, but I don't know how to convert to .msi? What I'd like is a way to do the install with a program like psexec and remotely log into dos on the computer needed the update.

XP Pro computers, Server 2003 environment.

The Adobe Customization Wizard dos'nt work with .msp file, the only download file for 8.1.7 I've been able to find is AcrobatUpd817_all_incr.msp which I downloade from the Adobe site, in order to use this with the Wizard it needs to be converted to .msi?

I believe you need to have the msi from the original product install and then apply the msp to make an updated msi then use the Wizard.

To slipstream use the msiexec.exe:

Your answer seems close to what I ended up with, after research and asking around I found this to work:

msiexec /p AcrobatUpd817_all_incr.msp /quiet /passive /norestart
