Mapping a drive using the "net use" command

Asked by jeller2000 in Windows Batch Scripting, Windows 2000 Server

I use a batch file to map a drive on my servers.  I have one domain that "ignores" the batch file when the user logs in.  In the other domains I have the share gets mapped fine.  This is the sytax I use:
net use m: \\ip address of server\sharename  When I go out to a dos prompt on the domain in question I get prompted for a username and password to connect to the share.  Does anyone have any ideas?Start Free Trial
