Batch File Processing

Hi,

Is it possible to create a batch file that will stay open, and also refresh automatically without the need of it to be opened every 5 minutes.

There are a number of methods to keep a script running.  It's possible to include the PAUSE command to wait until a user hits a key, or to use a command like "PING LOCALHOST 10 > NUL" to wait for a number of seconds.  External programs can be launched with START /WAIT to suspend further processing until the program is closed.  GOTO loops can be used to repeat sequences endlessly.

Perhaps you could provide more details about what you're trying to accomplish.

What does the batch file do?

I recommend something like this:

:start
echo hello //replace this with your code
sleep 300
goto start

Yes create a bat file and write this:

(Sleep don't exist in batch commands)

1000 is 1 sec in milliseconds
