The following Windows XP/Vista batch file _test.bat ...
for /f "tokens=1,2" %%u in ('date /t') do set d=%%v
for /f "tokens=1" %%u in ('time /t') do set t=%%u
if "%t:~1,1%"==":" set t=0%t%
set timestr=%d:~6,4%%d:~0,2%%d
set copyname=myfile_%timestr%_
@echo Saving %copyname%
pause
... produces the following result
Saving myfile_20081125_0927_MYPC.
Whether it is 09:27 AM or 09:27 PM. I would prefer if it showed 24 hour time as in
Saving myfile_20081125_2127_PGMR5
Any simple way to do this in Windows XP & Vista?
