The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Deploying Activex Documents

Asked by nenvy in Visual Basic Programming

Hey.This is my third attempt.None are giving right answer.I have tried all soughts but am wrong some where.
1.I am using package and deployment wiard and created a dependency file.
2. then i created a internet download package with all the required files.I am sure I added my Dll file also which was there by default.
3.I placed all the package folder in the root directory of web server(PWS)in my case.
4.To simulate a clean machine(partially), I unregistered the DLL file that was created when I compiled my Project.
5.When I try to open the page in the browser, It Shows the same Old Dialog. Open it from Current Location/Save it to Disk. From MSDN DOcumentation, It says that its because of MSVBVM60.dll.But in my case thats not the problem. Now if I register my Activex DLL file from Run Command, and open the same document, It works fine.I could not understand why this dll file in not loaded and registered in the users machine.Always when i register it externally, It works. If I unregister, It Shows the same dialog.
6.I am tired reading all the documentation saying the same old solution check for MSVBVM60.dll(For VB6) or Dependency information.

I need  this solution urgently. So being a Developer Please lend your Precious time in helping me .

Your cooperation is highly appreciated.

Thanks.
