Database crashes often

I have a database application that is being used at 6 different worldwide locations. The application is developed in Visual Basic using an Access database with Workgoup security set up. At each location there is a separate copy of the database on a file server. The number of users at each location is between 25-30. Most of them are running queries only, active data entry is done by 6-10 person at each location.

Here is the problem: at one location out of the six, the application crashes frequently. Sometimes it is so bad that the database gets corrupted three - four times in a 12 hour period. On the other locations it runs fine. Sometimes I have corruptions at other locations, too, but that's only three - four times in a three month period and I can live with that.

My question is that what can cause the frequent crashes at that one location. The only reason I can think of is poor network connections and / or busy server. Please let me know if you can give some advise what can cause this problem and how to go fix it.

Oh, I forgot to mention that first I used DAO, and now I have a new version rolled out that is using ADO. I experienced the crashes with both versions.
