Data Report Parameters

Hello! I have a Data Report setup with a Data Environment that contains Parent/Child tables from a SQL database.

What I need to accomplish is to print the report for a specific ID. For example, I have a print button on a form. When the user clicks the print button, I want to send the current records ID and print the data report for that specific record.

I have tried the following:

1)
dim temp as int
temp = current_ID

DataEnvironmentName.Commands("Command1").CommandText = "select * from table where ID = " & current_ID

(This produced an error in the detail section of the data report.)

2)
Added where = ? to the SQL Statement in the data environment. This enabled the parameters tab, but after defining the parameter, I could not figure out how to incorporate the new parameter.

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
