Printing RTF Causes GPF

I'm using VB5(SP3)

Here's the code that fails.

Private Sub Command1_Click()
    RichTextBox1.SelPrint (Printer.hdc)
End Sub

If RichTextBox1 contains plain text it prints without error but if the text contains formatting (Bold, etc.) I get a GPF with the following error message:

       VB5 caused a general protection fault

I've been using VB5 for 3+ years and have never found any incompatibilities between it and the rest of my system.

This is a wonderful service and, the people here are great but, I've encountered differences of opinion in the past over whether the problem was solved. So, I now try to define what I consider a qualifying solution.  In this case I will consider the problem solved if I am able to print RichTextBox1 with any contents allowed in a RichTextBox by VB5.  Or, the answer includes a definitive way to demonstrate the problem is with my computer.

I will resist tests that require significant amounts of time or major or irreversible changes to my Windows installation.
