The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Receive error 429: ActiveX component can't create object  error.

I have an application written in VB5 with Access database and the setup.exe is created with InstallShield 6.1.  Everything installs on a client machine without any problems, but the executable wouldn't start - giving me a 429 error.  This error only occurs in Win95 environment.  WinNT, Win2000 and Win98 installations are fine.  This application is also developed on a Windows98 machine.  Can somebody help me out with this problem, since this is very urgent.  Is there a way to find which .dll or .ocx is causing this error?  Any comments are welcome.  Thanks.Start Free Trial
