With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. how to parse a txt file of 400 Mb aprox.

I've done a vb program that parses a big txt file (400 Mbytes) and outputs to another txt. My problem is that i'm running "out of memory" after a few minutes. I don't know how to split the file on NT. I'm trying to open it with the "open" statement, i don't know if there is another way to open the file for loading it partially on memory. I don't know also how to split the file on windows NT.
