In theory, if the FlatStyle property is set to System, it should make the button skinned. But it doesn't.
So, how do i make skinned controls under XP?
PS: Even the MessageBox is not skinned to XP look.

You do have to set the FlatStyle to System but you also have to have a menefest. The whole thing is discussed in this article:
