nope, standalone vb6 exe application. I'm using it to search links on my website and I need to save the absolute paths of the links (if they were specified as a relative url).

Browse All TopicsHi experts!
I need a small function to convert a relative URL (with a base address) to an absolute one. Any takers?
I'd like to cover the following cases (I think these are all cases?):
base url: http://server.com/wherever
relative urls:
path/path/file
#jumpmarker
../../path/file
/otherpath/path/file
etc.
I'm sure there's something really easy out there, I just couldn't find it + am too tired today to write it myself :))
Thanks!
