Asked by Greinerjr in Visual Basic Programming

Tags: scientific, notation, convert

I am reading in scientific notation numbers from a text file as strings and need to
convert them to  Doubles in my VB program.

Example strings:
0.294884E+00
0.355566E+01
0.355566E+03
0.324534E-01
0.344534E-02

I would appreciate a VB solution.
