Stripping html without loading into browser

I'm trying to strip all sort of different kind of html pages also php etc.Ive tried using the IE object but you have to load it intot he browser and that has caused me to get viruses and unwanted programs on my machine.This function seems to work ok except I know there is an html in the string its stripping but it still returns a blank.Any suggestions?
