I'm looking for an idea on exporting multiple registry branches to a .REG file. For example, my app needs to export the following registry branches to a *single* text file:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.APP
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\APPFILE
*and* 5 other keys
Using the "regedit.exe /e...." command line with do the trick, but I'm looking for a way to export the info to a single text file without the need for concatenating separate text files.
Is this possible?

I don't think you can do this with regedit /e unless you export each file then write these into a new file.
Alternatively your app will need to read the values itself and write them to a file itself.
