Question

VBScript - check and start services, add registry keys

I need a quick script that does the following please:

1) Check to see if Automatic Updates and BITS are enabled and started.  If not, enable Automatic Update services and BITS, set them to Automatic, and start them

2) Add registry keys

The script should reference a text file containing server names, and do this for each server on the list.

If anyone has such a script, it would be greatly appreciated.

sirbounty, can you modify your script to reference a text file with the server names?

It changes things considerably to switch this to a multi-system logic.
If we weren't doing all the registry changes, it would be doable, since we can specify the target device using wmi.
