The Solution Rating System

  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. VB coding in order to grab a specific data on a website under certain conditions

Hi all,

I am looking to learn a little bit of coding and I wanted to try this:

There is a recruitment website that contains a datatable with the following code for each entry in the database (or each row if it helps with the understanding):

For legal reasons, I changed the name of the company by "The Company Name" in the 3rd and last lines of the code.

What I'd like it to do is when it sees that the Company Name is "Zebest" (for example) it should access the link and retrieve a data: the contact's name (in the following source code - which is only just a part of the page's source code, look for Simon in the 20th-21st lines and that would be the data, I again chaged the real name to mine for legal reasons):

Would it be possible then to get that data and have it pop-up in a messagebox without us having ever actually accessed the website?
