In my program I create a string to go into the body of an email.
When I want some text to start on the next line, I put a VBcrlf in the string.
It looks fine, (the text that I want to start on the next line does so) in a standard text box.
However, when I place the text into an email, and then send the email
the VBcrlf doesnt always work. It works most of the time,
But sometimes not.
In the email the text comes out like this:
This is the first sentence. This is the second sentence.
It should come out like this:
This is the first sentence.
This is the second sentence.
I have checked, there is a VBcrlf between the two pieces of text.
We are using Microsoft exchange server.
I am using SMTP to send the email, using a Winsock control.
We are on Outlook 2003.
I have tried replacing VBcrlf with chr$(13) & chr$(10),
That didnt work.
If I put two VBcrlfs between the two pieces of text, then it will space two lines, it will look like this:
This is the first sentence.
This is the second sentence.
Any help would be appreciated,
Thank You,
Laurence
