The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? How to extract  data from a mediumtext field.

I have exported two fields ID ( viz, ID and Data) from mySql. ID is a integer and Data is a mediumtext.
nearly 500 records.  One sample record is shown below between the  >>>>>>>  and <<<<<<< marks.

I want to extract the following :

     1) the first line till the word Tel:

Pan, Surana (Last update: 7 Jan 2008) Blk 352, St 33 ,05#488, Central  Java, Java, 520352,Java, Java Email: Suranathazinpan@yahoo.com.sg Tel: 65--98692295 (Current)

      2) The personal details

PERSONAL DETAILS: Passport No. : 256516 Date of Birth : January 14, 1977 Gender : Female Marital Status : Single Nationality : Myanmar Race/Religion : Kayin/Christian Availability : Able to start work immediately Expected Salary : Negotiable

and  
       3) Capture the record number which is the last word in the record.

      In the example  its 39.

I dont need the rest of the information.

How this could be done in Linux or windows ?
Any detailed pointersor general guide lines, how to get a resolve would be appreciated.
