How can I include a second vb query and highlight the worksheet cells based on the query?

I have a worksheet that i am dumping a sql query into.  my issue is that i also need to include a second sql query, where the background color of the cell will be highlighted based on the query results. at first i just thought i needed a regular for loop, but then I figured I would need a InStr function within the forloop.  Either way, neither one works. Am i on the right track with this second part?  The code successfully pulls the initial records.  It is erroring on the color change.  

On this code:
