The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution.   • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How do I repeat a formula to fill a column, using a value in another cell to choose how many cells in the column are filled.

Ok I have an Excel Spreadsheet workbook with some access queries attached to it. I've made a list of names via an access query on a sheet called 'Count' and managed to count how many names there are in the column which will change each time the query is refreshed and the database values have changed. The count of the list length is on sheet3, cell c1.

How do I repeat a formula in column b of sheet3 for x amount of rows, x being the length of the list. the x can be found from sheet3 c1, I used the formula counta(sheet3!A:A)

I want to do this so I can complete more tables using this list whilst knowing that the length of the list will alter in future, so the number of cells with the formulae in will change to the right of it. I also don't know how to automatically repeat the formula in the first place, I think I'll need VB code to do it.
