Adding a NULL terminator in a string

Hello. I'm making a simple builder to replace certain bytes of an EXE with other's depending on what you put in textboxes. It works fine, but I am making a builder for an FTP uploader, so I need the strings to be exact (spaces will mess it up)

here's the code:
You see where s2 = s2 & " " is?

I need the " " to be a null-terminator string so that it will not make password123 "password123    "
Also I need it not to corrupt the EXE upon build (same size)
