2003 excel error after an update, file is corrupt and cannot be recovered

Asked by systems_ax in Visual Basic Programming, Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Software, VB Objects

I have an application developed with vb.6 that has excel 97 2000 and 2003 capabilities.  Recently after an automatic update, evry time I extract a file in excel format within my application and then open this excel file on the desktop, it says that the file is corrupt and cannot be recovered.  is there a fix for that strictly for vb6 applications, maybe a dll or ocx file that gets unregistered or is deleted.

thank you very muchStart Free Trial
