How can I overwrite a write protected file using code?

Hi

I create text files which are write protected (from richtext boxes), but at a point in the code I want tobe able to auto overwritw the file. Anyone any ideas?

You have the power to change the attributes, clearing the ReadOnly bit, then you can delete the file.  You have to check to make sure that the file is not in use at the time you wish to delete it though.
