I can't see Microsoft Internet Transfer Protocol in my references list...any ideas?

I need to download a flat file from a unix host and save it to my local drive. I want to do this a simply a possible without promting the user for a username and password (this can be got from a config file of something). I thought ftp would be best, but someone else suggested http.
How can I do either in Excel 2002?

I took a quick look for you, the control can be added by opening a userform, right clicking on the toolbox and clicking on "Additional Controls". From there you can scroll down to 'Microsoft Internet Transfer Control' and check the box beside it. The only drawback to this method is you need a userform in your project where you have the control. You do not need to show the form to use it, the code below will use the control without showing the form...
