Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have a script where I am calling a Form in a thread using ShowDialog (So that I can update it with result information while the program is running). When I try to hide the dialog box to move it off the screen (after the result are done) it automatically gets out of the showdialog and I lose my Form box. I have tried a lot of things, how can I hide this form with the ability to bring it up later?

You can't use ShowDialog() then...just use Show(). Hiding the form or setting the DialogResult() Property allows code execution to return to where ShowDialog() was originally called from.
