Thanks peetm. I didn't realize that there was a sed version for Windows, but after your comment I Googled and found on here:

Now, I just need to determine what's the Window's equivalent. I'm running GNU sed version 4.1.2 on my Linux system, but there doesn't seem to be the same version for Windows.

If you mean can it be used to read from stdin, process, and then write to stdout, AND run as a console-app, then the answer is yes.
