It's even easier. Iirc, Outlook does so for you already: just after you did PrtScr or Alt-PrtScr, and after that, you use Ctrl-V in your outlook body, the result is a JPG compressed image.
If not, then I just used alternative mailers too often (sorry, don't have outlook on my current system).
On a side note: what I personally love using is GadWin PrintScreen. It has an unlimited use free version. The free edition will automatically send the captured area via email if you want and it is automatically compressed as jpg, png or other. You can select rectangles, whole windows or whole screens.
@TheLearnedOne: I don't agree. The user asked to find a solution with as few keystrokes as possible. I gave a solution which requires one keystroke and does all what was in the original request (create email, compress image, possibly send email). Considering the time before his last comment and mine, I don't believe the (free!) solution was actually tried.
Suggestion: http:#24700891 as solution, http:#24700913 as assist and http:#24700867 as assist (codecruiser's suggestion to change the default filetype, which compresses it).

Where do you want to paste them? One easy solution is to take the screenshots as JPGs in the first place. Default file type in Paint is BMP but can be changed to JPG.
