Thanks, Matti!
I didn't know those .dll's would work in the installation directory.

Browse All TopicsI am having this same problem, but I am not the developer. I am a network administrator trying to silently push a VB application to users desktops. I am using a ZENworks 7 Application Object to do this. It basically runs setup.exe /silent, and then enters some custom registry entries. However, I have the same issue with the silent install being interrupted when it attempts to copy files older than what already resides on the host. If I were the developer, I would recompile the exe with the newer file versions to reid myself of this annoyance, but I am not. I do have Visual Studio 2010 though, if someone wants to explain to me how to do that. I thought it would be easier, if it is possible, to make some edit to the .exe's .LST file. Is there something that you can put in the [setup1 Files] section to automatically answer those prompts? I don't care if the new files are overwritten or not since the app will work either way. I will attach th econtents of the .SLT file. Thanks for your help!

Hi!
Try to install to AppPath instead on WinSysPath, a side by side registration is now days bossible, and I think this would stop those promps from the installer.
So edit these (WinSysPath), to (AppPath),
Regards!
