Your routers IP address will be your published IP address. Generally speaking, your DSL/Cable modem will assign your PC an IP address using DHCP, and will use NAT translation to route your packets to you. This allows your routing device to handle multiple PC connections using the 1 IP address. If you need to dedicate that IP address to your machine, you can use port forwarding to map it 1 to 1. There should be a setting in your routers interface to allow port forwarding.
