You could lock the columns you do not want edited.
Put in the same place that you load your grid to lock the first column.
Datagrid1.columns(0
or you could cycle through the columns to find the ones you want to lock...

Do you want certain columns in datagrid to be readonly or the whole datagrid to be readonly?
if you want to set the whole datagrid to readonly, you can:
set the AllowUpdate property to False.
