You could add this as an Internet Explorer object with a progress bar, or if you simply want it to pop up then thats fine.  Let me know your preference and will paste some code.

You can try this...
Around line 22 or so there is a section for mapping drive letters.

I have not tried running this as a login script.  I know that when scripts like this have been used in the past sometimes IE add-in tools mess up the display and it may not look correct on some machines.

Give it a try and let me know if it seems to work.

If you want a simple message to popup and go away after a few seconds try this...

The value "3" is the number of seconds to hang around before clearing itself.

Dim WshShell
Dim result

Set WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell")
result = WshShell.Popup("Mapping drives. Please wait...", 3)

clynch302,

it will not display a message  box but it will display on a command prompt.

for some reason, it is not advisable to have a message box display on the vbscript,
because when the user did not click the OK on the message box, the process will
not continue...
