How can I trim time series data with a macro?

I have attached a file "Example" showing an example of the type of data I want to process.  I need to trim the end and start of the data by, for instance, one or two days.  This would trim a partial day as one of the days.  For instance, data starting at 3:00 AM on 9/1/08, if trimmed by two days, would then start at 12:00 AM on 9/3/08.

I have also attached a file "Macro" from which I want to run the macro.  There is already a macro in the workbook designed to run a macro for each file in a folder specified.  Note that the code refers to "TrimFiles."  This macro is yet to be written.  I would like, if at all possible, for the macro to refer to the cell value of cell J5 in the "Macro" workbook in determining the number of days and partial days of data to the data from the files in the specified folder.
