So where does this event live that I am raising? Is it on the windows form wrapper?

Browse All TopicsI am having a hard time getting a grid to recognize the keypress event. I think it is because I have the grid in a usercontrol. Is there a KeyPreview Property for a usercontrol? I have this Usercontrol in a windows form "wrapper". I use this wrapper to wrap all of my usercontrols that I develop as the the screens.

you need to raise a event from your usercontrol
ie
in your user control
Public Event keypress(KeyAscii As Integer)
Private Sub Grid1_KeyPress(KeyAscii As Integer)
RaiseEvent keypress(KeyAscii)
End Sub
