What code are you actually using, as the accepted solution in that thread clearly isn't appropriate as it uses DAO (which isn't applicable in an ADP - not directly anyway).

In an ADP DAO isn't appropraite.
Sure you can add a reference to DAO (Or ACE Blah blah blah) reference but at a fundamental level the CurrentDB method does not return an object in an ADP. (I say again it does not return a object - and as that's all it does then it's useless).
IMO you must be familiar with ADO to tackle ADPs.
Are you essentially saying that you want the ADO equivalent?
(FWIW if memory serves from my earlier reading of that related thread) the other, non-accepted solution, should work better for you. :-)
