The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? How / Where do i run the following code?

I found the following code in another post on experts-exchange.
It is WMI code and is used to return a computers Battery Statistics.
It is pretty much the exact code i want, but being new to WMI i
dont know where or how to run it.
