Call DOS from VBA

I normally open a command window and call a C program that expects a few arrguments.
I then type the args into the black command window and the program executes.

I want to do this from excel via some kind of VBA macro.

Can you give me the code or some tips to Achieve this please.

 Note I will use the value in a cell as one of the arrguments.
