The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not?   • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. VBS : Using a Popup Msg box to delete from AD with

Dear EE Experts

It seems I must once again ask the EE people for the solution to a question that has been bugging me.

I have recently managed to make a small script that deletes computer-objects in my AD, but editing a script every time I wish to delete a machine is not very useful.

Since im trying to learn, my "question" is both a matter of seeing how, but also a matter of "why did you do that"

This means I would dearly like if any of you super-scripters could comment any script you make that can affect my needs, so I can learn from what you did and perhaps use it in the future :)

1: How do I make a script that will when started pop up a msgbox and then take the input you enter in the msgbox and try to delete that from the AD.

(I.e, I click Script.vbs, a messagebox pops up, I enter RandomComputerName and it checks the varying "computer" folders in the ad and deletes the name if it's found, then gives me a popup with "Object Found & Deleted" or "Object not found")

So far my miniature script that can check ad and delete the machine, though without any echo confirmations or popup box is this, though you do NOT have to use it in whatever is created.
