Error 1720.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package - ActiveX component can't create object
I get the following error during a product installation:
Error 1720.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A script required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Custom action RemoveOldShortcuts.6ED2868

It looks like an issue in the RemoveOldShortcuts vbscript custom action from the FlexNet installer.
It happend on Win XP 32bit and 64bit, SP2 and SP3.
Any idea how we can fix this?
