Hashing in ASP

Is there really no built in hashing in ASP? I've been looking around, and all I see are links to 3rd party vendors. How do we know they got the algorithms right? There's no built in support for this in ASP? Am I mistaken?

No build in support. Most of the 3rd party codes and IMHO all of the commercial ones, are working.

Yep, that's what it's looking like... What was Microsoft thinking creating a language to handle web scripting without giving one of the most basic security essentials...
