Change day format in Flexgrid

Hello all,

I need to adjust that script. In column 8 of my flexgrid, I have days name ex: Sun, Mon,Tue,Wed and so on.

I want to click on a command button and it will add a column after column 8  and in that new column 9, it will put the day number that correspond to the day name.

if for example I have Mon, will since this week, Monday equals to Nov 2, then it will put 2 in column 9, beside Mon in column 8.

How can I do this please?

adding a column dynamically changes all order of the cells as it is really just one long array.

how about making the column 9 have zero width until you want to display it ?

this is done in VB6 but VBS should be very similar.

so you setup the grid to have the day number column, but make it invisible.

then display it and calc the day of month of the relevant day,  Note these will always be dates of the current week.

Hello all,

When I use your code, Msg Box "Could not match day name" is showing all the time and it give a 30 as a value for all days.

Do you know why?

means it hasnt matched a cell value. note it is case sensitive.

can you step thru the code and tell what the value of test variable is before the call to DateofLastDay

otherwise need so see more of your code.

test variable = "Mon"

But for : dtNow = DateofLastDay(test)

dtNow  = Empty

Did you populate the daynames() array at all for startup ?

otherwise, adjust the DateOfLastDay() function to include the daynames as presets at below.
