Could you please advise on the options available for the following scenario?<br />

We have a website which is working ok and the plan is to accept payments online via a third party.The third party accepts http post request and I guess returns some sort of status to say if transaction failed or succeeded.<br />

What happens when the user session times out half way through the request to third party?<br />
<br />
How would we receive the result from this third party?<br />
<br />
What are the best practices? Do we need a separate component which deals with this instead?<br />
<br />
Can you advise on any architecture configurations?<br />
