Future of programming?

Ok, this is not the best place for this, but you are experts, and I want expert opinions. I'll award the points to the most insightful answer, as subjective as that sounds.

I have programmed in COBOL, javascript, asp, html, dhtml, Director, Flash, VBScript, and anymore, I have no motivation to learn because I have no idea where to focus. I know there is no ONE language to learn, but between Microsofts .NET, and Sun's ONE, and java, I dont have enough insight to know what will be prevalent over the next few years. Maybe all of you are just as confused, either way, I'd like your opinions.
