if you use visual studio 6, yes use a control array; if you use visual studio .NET, you have to use something like this:

Have all your list control the same name (like List1) and set their Index property to an integer value (0, 1, 2, ...).
All your events will now need to receive an extra parameter (Index as Integer). Comment all the code related to your list control and double click one. The required parameter will be generated in the event definition.

Your list controls needs to be placed into a control array (set the Index property of each list controls).
