Main Topics
Browse All TopicsHello,
I am trying to do some division from within VB.net and the results the "\" operater gives me is the integer quotient of number1 and number2, dropping the remainder. What I need is a reminder after dividing my 2 numbers since I want to work out the percentage of the result....ie. 5\4 = 0.8, now I need 0.8 * 100 = 80% as my answer but VB.net gives me 0 as the division result which is causing problems.
Hope i have explained myself well, help will be appreciated.
